COVID got you stressed out? You’re not alone if isolation and the fear of becoming sick is giving you the blues.
The City of Calgary and Calgary Mindfulness are joining together to offer an introduction to mindfulness meditation. Covers introduction to meditation and how to cultivate a personal practice.
When: Thursday, September 10 and Wednesday, September 23, 12-1pm.
Where: Outdoors, in Central Memorial Park (1221 2st St, Calgary AB T2R 0W5). Look for the large festival tent in this lovely inner city park.

Distancing Protocols: Social distancing rules will be honored – particpants are asked to bring their own blankets / mats; hula hoops will indicate distance between participants. Masks can be worn.
What We’ll Do: We will learn a little about how stress affects your mind & body, and how meditation can help relieve some of the symptoms. Then we’ll practice a few different anchors for mindfulness meditation – listening, breathing and a body scan. Finally, we’ll have some Q & A.
